I got the idea for this blog one day when I was taking a walk with my friend Sarah. She said something about how she was really scared to be around me when I first got sick, but that now she knows my life isn't that different from hers and that I'm still the same person. I want everyone else to know that, so I'm blogging!

Happy Birthday, America!
America is 235 years old today! We celebrated America's birthday over the weekend, and it's a good thing too because it's storming today. It's supposed to rain all day! Normally, I don't like rain, but I'm a little tired from all the excitement that's been going on here. It will be nice to stay inside and play with my new stuff that I got for my birthday. In case you were wondering, I did get my new doll! I got Addy! I collect the historical American Girl dolls! I also got a couple new books and movies and some new clothes. Elyssa and I are going to watch one of the new movies right now. It's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1! I've seen it before, but I love watching all the Harry Potter movies over and over again. I can't wait to see the new one in the theater! Elyssa gets to go to the midnight showing in 3D, but mom says I'm not old enough yet. She's taking me to the very first showing the next day though! How is everyone else spending their Independence Day?

Happy fourth!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to see the movie Monte Carlo with Lilly, and I might watch some fireworks tonight.
My holiday (Bastille Day) is next week, and I can't wait!
Bises,
Sabine
Happy 4th of July, Taylor.
ReplyDeleteWe live in Canada so it's not a holiday for us, but Canada Day (celebrating the day Canada became a country) was on Friday, and for that we had a barbecue and saw fireworks at the park.
Congratulations on Addy. She's so pretty.
We are soooo excited about the new Harry Potter movie. We can't go at midnight either, but we already have tickets for the very next day.
Love,
The Green Girls
